There’s a good reason Kellie Pickler’s pretty blond hair is gone
We never knew for sure how Kellie Pickler was going to look when she walked out on stage at a concert. I’ve seen her hair long, short, hanging, tied back in a pony tail – I’ve seen her with big earrings, small earrings, earrings peeking out through strands of long blond hair. I’ve even seen pictures of her for a very brief period of time when she tried her hand at being a ‘red head’. But right now, Kellie has a new look. She has shaved her head in support of her best friend, Summer Holt Miller, who has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Kellie, who stood by Summer throughout her prognosis and subsequent treatment, stood alongside her friend last Tuesday in Nashville, as the close friends both buzzed their hair to bring awareness to the importance of early detection.
Kellie and Summer showed the world their new cuts on ABC’s Good Morning America, and they spoke about their lifelong friendship. "Cancer does not discriminate," Kellie said. "If this compels even one person to change their mentality toward waiting until the age of 40 for their mammogram," Summer added, "then it will be worth it."
There is a lot to be admired about Kellie Pickler. Now we can add one more thing to that list.In addition to Kellie’s web site, be sure to follow her on Twitter @kelliepickler.

reading this article about her constant change of look, I just wonder if she has real establish own personality?
Now, this looks too much ugly to me, I would pay a ticket to see death camp looking, what ever cause it is supposed to support, wall they pretend it does, I’m not sure.
Charles, The reason Kellie cut her hair off is simple to understand, really. She loves her friend. They’ve been friends forever. Her friend is going through a difficult time right now. Her friend may lose her hair due to cancer treatments. Kellie is just showing her support to her friend by going throuh all of that with her. I think it speaks very highly of Kellie Pickler, to put her friendship above something like a nice hair-do. I say ‘three cheers for Kellie Pickler’. Country
What a friend. God will bless her for this.
