I wanted to take a few minutes this morning and introduce all of you to a new web site, Music Charts Magazine. The goal of this new site is to “provide you with up to date information on music and artists from around the globe. Featuring: Weekly Charts (various genres), Concert Information, Music & Concert Reviews, Celebrity Interviews, Live Streaming Radio, Music Videos and so much more.”
Still in its developmental stage, the online magazine gives you (or will be adding soon) Music News, MCM Jukebox, Radio, Charts, Reviews (albums, singles, artist and concert), Celebrity Interviews, Grammy News, Obituaries, and of course will have a list of Links you might want to click on.
I just love the Jukebox. Here, you can listen to the BMI Top 100 Songs of the Century. This morning I listened to “Mrs. Robinson” (Simon & Garfunkel), “I Will Always Love You” (Dolly Parton), “Every Breath You Take” (The Police), “Gentle On My Mind” (Glen Campbell), “Can’t Hurry Love,” (The Supremes) and so many more. Lots of songs from every genre, right there on the Music Charts Magazine web site.
The site is well designed and easy to navigate. You’ll want to add this one to your favorites. Visit often to find out what’s going on in the entire music industry.
In the Reviews on the new site, you will also find many from Country’s Chatter. I appreciate Jason Rogers, Founder, Chairman of the Board, CEO and Editor in Chief at Music Chart Magazine, for asking me to be the exclusive reviewer for country music.
One of the features on the site that I really like is Dispatch Me Home Radio, hosted by Big Al Weekly. The show plays some of the greatest trucking songs of all times, and looks at news in the trucking industry. The music is great, the information very interesting, and I really like Big Al. He has a great radio personality, and he has a great program. I listened to both shows this morning, there are only two up so far (like I said, relatively new site), both shows were great!
Music Charts Magazine has just put up a new facebook page, hope you will run over there and “Like” that. Remember to follow them on Twitter, too, @MusicChartsMag. The online music magazine is still in its early stages, but I’m hoping everyone will get behind them, and watch them grow!
Here at Country’s Chatter, we try to bring you all the latest country music news, complete with tour dates, new videos, music and show reviews, and contests – all dealing with country music and country artists. I appreciate each of my readers, and know from your emails, comments and suggestions that you all like what is going on here. But I would like to I invite all of you to visit this new site, where you can keep up with everything music. I admit I don’t know much about Hip Hop, Pop, Rock, Heavy Metal, Rap, and whatever the other genre names are … but the folks at Music Chart Magazine do. So if you like all genres of music, you are going to enjoy this site.
