Jimmy-Rose

Yes, I like any reality television show that involves talent. “American Idol,” “So You Think You Can Dance,” “The Voice,” and even “America’s Got Talent” keep me glued to my set during its season. I sat watching American’s Got Talent finale’ tonight, and one by one, I saw my favorites being sent home. Cami Bradley was the first to leave. That surprised me. Then Colin Keys – the 17 year old magician had to leave – I thought he was fantastic! After that, the trio Forte’ was told their journey had come to an end. They got down to the final three, and Jimmy Rose was still in the running. But we had to stop there … wait for a commercial … and then watch Luke Bryan perform before getting the rest of the results.

NUP_155371_3360.JPGIt was Luke Bryan! I think I can wait a few more minutes for the results. Luke sang “That’s My Kinda Night,” his current single. That was my highlight of tonight’s show. And probably the highlight for most country music fans. We did get to see Dierks Bentley earlier in the evening, when he sang a duet with Jimmy, so it was really a pretty good night for country music fans.

Fourth one to go home – Jimmy Rose. Sorry to see him go, and absolutely cannot believe that the stupid comedian is still there. Someone needs to tell Taylor Williamson that there is a difference between funny and stupid, and his routines were simply stupid. But Jimmy can be proud. He did well.  In 10 minutes, we’ll know if Kenichi or Taylor win this year. I would give it to Kenichi. And I’m still not believing the comedian made it this far.

There you have it – Taylor  is gone, Kenichi wins this season of America’s Got Talent. He deserved it. Very talented dancer, and very creative, too.

Do y’all remember Kevin Skinner? He was the ‘chicken catcher’ who won America’s Got Talent back in 2008. He was a country music singer, too. I wonder what ever happened to him?

Back with more soon!
