In honor of Veterans Day, country artist Rodney Atkins made a special visit to the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System’s Nashville Campus VA Hospital yesterday, which was arranged through one of Musicians On Call’s weekly Bedside Performance Programs to visit with patients who have served in the U.S. military. The country music singer/songwriter went room to room personally thanking vets for their service and uplifting their spirits with performances of hits such as "Farmer’s Daughter," "If You’re Going Through Hell" and his latest single "Doin’ It Right."

Rodney MOC 2 (2)“Any time I can support our military heroes, I’m honored to be involved,” said Atkins. “Music is a powerful healer, and I’m grateful that programs like Musicians On Call provide these opportunities for artists to connect through music.”
