The past year has been a whirlwind for this Chicago native, who released her debut self-titled EP (all six songs co-written by Lyons) in November of 2012. The EP charted at #42 on the national country album iTunes chart in less than 24 hours, remained in the top 200 for a week, and continues to remain on the iTunes charts 400-700 range and iTunes’ Albums Under $8 "Recent Best Sellers" and "All-Time Best Sellers". On December 6, 2012, the EP debuted as  #10 on Billboard’s Heatseekers East North Central chart. Since last year, Elizabeth has sold over 75,000 songs online.

This past summer, Lyons drove 10,000 miles to over 50 radio stations to support the single and music video of the first track of her EP, “Everything Tonight," directed by Mason Dixon, who produced Jake Owen’s "Barefoot Blue Jean Night" and "The One That Got Away," as well as the video for Jana Kramer’s "Whiskey”. The video charted #8 on iTunes Top Country Music Videos chart and #18 on iTunes Top Videos chart for all genres. "Everything Tonight" was written by Elizabeth in 2012 with producer Matt Nolen and Grammy-nominated songwriter Ryan Tyndell. The single charted at #87 on MediaBase, #96 on the MusicRow chart, and was played on over 100 stations, averaging 1,000 spins per week.

In 2013, Lyons played Milwaukee Summerfest with Phil Vassar, The Bluebird Cafe, Brickstreet with Thomas Rhett and Cole Swindell, Joe’s On Weed St with Josh Gracin, Lock & Dam Country Jam with Glen Templeton, Upland Brewery with Clayton Anderson, 12th & Porter, Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar in Minneapolis, MN, Thursdays on Main Clearlake, IA, Canopy Club, Bradley Center, and most recently, The Billy Block Show, and Joe’s bar with Brushville, where Lyons helped raise money for tornado victims in Washington, IL.

Lyons graduated from Vanderbilt University earlier this year and plans to continue touring in 2014. Her infectious personality, talent and dedication make her a force to be reckoned with, but she insists it’s those around her that fuel her inspiration.

"I try to live my life by never giving up, trying to bring happiness into people’s lives whether it’s by randomly hugging someone to make them laugh or by giving them advice when asked," Lyons said. "A lot of my friends and fans ask me about boys, relationships, and life, and I love learning about people’s stories and taking them and being inspired by them."

A true standout artist with an established fan base, her EP has been very well-received on iTunes. One reviewer gushed, “Watch out Taylor. This album defines fresh new talent.”
