Video
There is a video on YouTube that I would like all of my readers to watch. After you watch it, please share it on your Facebook page, blog, web site, or just pass the link around to friends and relatives in your e-mail. It’s a fundraiser. And, as I understand this, the organizers need one million views by Dec. 31, 2013. If they get them, a sponsor has pledged $1 million to a yet to be named children’s charity.  (You can get to the video by clicking on the banner above).

JacksonThe organizer of this fundraising event is Jackson Young. If you aren’t familiar with Jackson and his music, I hope you will visit his web site. I have posted the cover photo from Jackson’s Facebook page above. As you can see, it reads “Let’s Raise Money for Children’s Charities! By Honoring our veterans and viewing our 2013 Tribute Video, you are helping raise funds for Children’s Charities. Help us to reach our Goal of 1 Million Views by December 31st.” It’s that simple. There’s the info – and, again, here is your link to the YouTube video. It’s a link I hope all of you will all work very hard to spread around.

This is December 5, 2013. We can all count, December 31st isn’t that far away. We’ve got a lot of work to do. The last I checked, the video had just over 900 views.

945139_607259105959168_1150431658_nIf you have a few minutes, you might also want to visit Jackson’s YouTube page and check out some of his music. This is a new artist, at least he is new to me, and he may be to a lot of you. But I think you’ll like his work. You can also follow Jackson Young on Twitter @JYCRowdyNation.

There you have it – now run over and have a look at this video. It’s really a great tribute to our Veterans. You’ll enjoy the video, and you’ll be helping kids who need help.

I’ll be back with more soon!
