Fair Press Con 002Beautiful morning for a press conference!  Today it was to tell us all who is going to be on the Main Stage at our 2015 Appalachian Fair in Gray, Tenn. This is a great fair, and one area residents wait for every year.  But, it is not just the local folks who make their way to Gray every August.  We’ve had the pleasure of meeting fans from as far away as Washington state, who have come in to attend the show of one of their favorite entertainers.

Fair Press Con 005So, before we talk about everything else going on during our Aug. 22-29, 2015 Appalachian Fair. Let’s get right to that entertainment. Here it is!

A few things you will want to remember:  Advance reserved show seats (as well as gate admission, parking and other special tickets) will go on sale at 9 a.m., July 25.  The ticket office is open Monday-Friday from 11 .m.-6 p.m and on Saturday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. The only Sunday hours will be Aug. 23, from 1 p.m.-7 p.m.  Make sure you check back on the fair’s web site from time to time, just in case there are any changes.  Remember, too, that all these Main Stage shows start at 8 p.m.m with the exception of Michael Ray who is opening for Chris Stapleton on Wednesday. His show starts at 7 p.m.  This Fair also has a Facebook page, so visit there, too, and remember to “Like” the page while you are there!

Fair Press Con 009Here are a few other things we heard about at this mornings press conference. In addition to these great entertainers, there are carnival rides from Drew Exposition, tractor pull, truck pull, Mega Trucks & Monster Trucks, Demolition Derby, Fairest of the Fair Pageant (as well as Little Miss), Battle of the Bands, Youth Talent, Appalachian Fair’s Got Talent Contest, Corn Hole, Baby Show, Watermelon Jaw, and all the animals and exhibits.  It’s a fun six-days, and I know everyone will want to be part of it.

HatNow that we’ve got web sites, Facebook pages and Twitter posted for all of our artists – I also want to invite you to follow Country’s Chatter on Twitter. If you aren’t already following us – you will find us @countryschatter. And, we would love to have you!  We’ve got a Facebook page, too – so when you get a minute, head that direction, and give us a “Like”.

We have a lot to get posted, so will be back with more soon!
