About Josh Thompson: Originally from Cedarburg, WI, Thompson moved to Nashville in 2005, scoring a major-label deal with Columbia Nashville in 2009. He released his first full-length album, Way Out Here, the following year, reaching the Top 10 on Billboard’s U.S. Top Country Albums chart. In 2012, he signed with Show Dog-Universal Music and released his second full-length, Turn It Up, in 2014, which also reached the country Top 10. Thompson has previously released five Top 40 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart – including “Way Out Here,” “Beer on the Table,” and “Won’t Be Lonely Long.” In addition to his own music, Thompson has written songs recorded by the likes of Jason Aldean, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Gary Allan and Darius Rucker, plus the new single “Freaks Like Me” from Joe Nichols.
