grammy_logoThe 2016 Grammy nominees were announced Monday morning (Dec. 7, 2015).  There are so many awards in this list.  Of course the Grammy awards cover every possible genre of music, the list seems endless.  We read through them all, from categories like Best Classical Instrumental Solo, and Best Opera Recording, to Producer of the Year, Non-Classical; to the ones most of us are more familiar with, Rock, Country, Rap.  We picked out the country artists who were nominated in country categories to share with all of you.  You can read the full list at Billboard, by clicking here. The first three in the list below, are not specifically country categories.  They are all-genre’ categories which include three great country artists/songs.  They are Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist.  Here are the 2016 Grammy Award nominees we thought you would like to know about:

The show will be broadcast live on Monday, Feb. 15, 2016, from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.  CBS will carry the show live, beginning at 8 p.m. ET.  You might want to plan your snack menu, invite a few friends over and settle down for a very long, and I’m sure very entertaining awards show.
