CraigWayneBoydWho watches NBC’s “The Voice”.  Okay, you can all put your hands down now, I see you. That’s a lot of people!  And, here in Northeast Tennessee we know that Craig Wayne Boyd, winner of Season 7, has a lot of fans.  Now, before you ask – yes, I had a reason for mentioning that – it is because he is on his way to Johnson City, Tenn., where he will headline this year’s July 4th Pepsi Independence Day Fireworks.

We are all excited about having Craig back in this area.  He did the Washington County Fair in Abingdon, Va., a few years ago, and we know he puts on a great show. Craig keeps busy with his shows, and of course you can find that whole schedule on his website.  He is at Niswonger Performing Arts Center in Van Wert, Ohio, tonight, and has his CMA Fest Fan Club Party scheduled for June 9 in Nashville. The shows up on his website right now have him from California to New York, and of course our July 4 show is up there, too.  To keep up with Craig, visit his website, and his Facebook page. You can follow him on Twitter @CWBYall. When you visit his website, be sure to look at all the social media links at the bottom of the first page.  You can hook up to his YouTube page, Instagram, and other sites there.

We are all looking forward to having Craig Wayne Boyd here, but you don’t think Pepsi is going to stop there, do you?  They have a whole afternoon and evening of entertainment lined up for us!  Here is the rest of our entertainment lineup for July 4.

And, anyone who has been to this great event in the past knows it won’t end there!  We will have a host of WXBQ deejays, and the famous WXBQ Rabbit.  And, they will all be joined by city and county officials, pageant queens, military personnel local businesses with prizes and give-aways, food vendors, and one of the best Fireworks displays anywhere! And, did I mention that before the evening ends, someone will win a new car from Champion Chevrolet! Those of you in the Northeast Tennessee, Southwest Virginia, and Western North Carolina area can start making your plans now for the 2016 4th of July Pepsi Fireworks Celebration at Freedom Hall in Johnson City, Tenn.  We hope to see you there!
