A Thousand Horses took the stage at the O2 Academy in Islington, England, tonight – and as expected, it was close to a sell-out crowd. Our England correspondent, Luke Alison, was on hand to grab some pictures for us, and tell us about the show.
Country music fans were treated to some of music from the full band, and an acoustic set as well. the audience got to hear favorites like, “Blaze of Something,” “Smoke,” “Travelin’ Man,” “Heaven is Close,” “First Time,” “Drunk Dial,” “Trailer Trashed,” Tennessee Whisky,” “Preachin’ to the Choir,” and Feelin’ Alright” with the help of the full band. The acoustic set included “Just For tonight,” “Back to Me,” “Hard to Handle,” “Sunday Morning,” “Bridges,” “Landslide,” and “Southernality.”
It is always appreciated when the artist take the time to do a meet and greet for their fans, and A Thousand Horses did just that. Above is a picture of Luke and his friend, Lu, who were part of the meet and greet tonight. Pictured are Michael Hobby, lead vocal; Bill Satcher, lead guitar; Lu and Luke, Graham Deloach, bass and vocal; Zach Brown, guitar and vocal.
After a great show, a minute to say hello to the band, what better way to top off the evening that with an autographed photo to add to your collection.
Before we give you a few more photos from tonight’s show, we have a video for you. Probably my favorite 1000 Horses song, “Smoke”. As you can see from the video, it isn’t just here in the states that fans know the songs well enough to sing along, it happens everywhere.
And, a few more photos from the show. Again, our thanks to Luke Alison, for the great job he does sending country music news our way from the UK.
