In celebration of America’s 241st Birthday, critically acclaimed country artist and USO tour participant CRAIG CAMPBELL honored our nation’s veterans and military through a series of events in Annapolis, MD; Washington, DC; and New York, NY.
On Sunday (7/2), Campbell rocked the Navy-Marine Corps Stadium in Annapolis, MD, for Military Appreciation Night. He performed a series of hits including “Keep Them Kisses Comin’,” “Outta My Head” and “Outskirts of Heaven,” ramping up with “Fish” just before the impressive fireworks display. The next morning (7/3), Campbell stopped by the Washington DC VA Medical Center to visit with and lift the spirits of hospitalized veterans. He gave them a sneak peek at a new tune, “Talk Country To Me,” and played a Garth Brooks’ song that he co-wrote, “All-American Kid.” On July 4th, Campbell’s breathtaking rendition of “American Anthem” could be heard nationwide during NBC’s Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular broadcast. The ballad saluting our veterans was featured in the patriotic musical score, synchronized to a dazzling 25-minute pyrotechnic display over the Hudson.
Campbell is currently playing select shows nationwide and will join Luke Bryan’s HUNTIN’ FISHIN’ AND LOVIN’ EVERY DAY TOUR on August 8. When not touring, Campbell is in the studio working on his third studio album – and his first on RED BOW Records – which features his lauded, moving single, “Outskirts of Heaven.”

ABOUT CRAIG CAMPBELL: Campbell launched on to the country music scene with the release of his self-titled debut album (2011) delivering the hits “Family Man,” “Fish,” and “When I Get It.” To date, he has logged five consecutive charted hits with over a billion radio airplay audience impressions and over a half million downloads. Acclaimed as one of the genre’s most neo-traditionalist singers, his Top 15 breakout debut “Family Man” was featured on HBO’s True Blood and fan-favorite “Fish” has tallied nearly 400,000 digital copies sold. Campbell earned his first Top 10 smash with the infectious “Keep Them Kisses Comin’” from his sophomore album NEVER REGRET (2013). The gifted songwriter co-wrote Garth Brooks “All American Kid” off of MAN AGAINST THE MACHINE. Prior to landing his first record deal, the Lyons, GA native spent time on the road playing keyboard for both Tracy Byrd and Luke Bryan – shows that inspired him nightly. He was soon discovered while playing a regular gig at the downtown Nashville honky-tonk, The Stage.http://www.countryschatter.com/2017/07/craig-campbell-celebrates-americas-241st-birthday-honoring-the-nations-veterans-and-troops-throughout-a-series-of-events-in-annapolis-md-washingotn-d-c-and-new-york-ny/Concert InfoPress ReleaseSummer Funcraig campbell,Huntin' Fishin' and Lovin Every Day tour,Keep Them Kisses Comin;,Luke Bryan,Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular,Navy Marine Corps Stadium,Outskirts of Heaven,Talk Country to Me
