HomeFree-I-Like-The-Sound-Of-ThatWhile school’s out for the summer, Columbia Records’ Home Free is offering a pure taste of nostalgia with their latest cover video for Rascal Flatts’ No. 1 smash “I Like the Sound of That”. The video was premiered exclusively on The Tennessean’s website earlier today.

Produced and directed by Jacob Colgan, the all-vocal quintet returns to the cherished halls of middle school to follow a heartwarming love story between two clumsy teachers, while adding comedic relief as the hilarious Home Free-run faculty on yearbook picture day. From an embarrassing chance encounter on a stairwell, to a spilled coffee snafu in the teacher’s lounge, watch as the endearing duo find playful romance outside of their mutual love of books, all while the foot-tapping tune plays on.

“When I heard ‘I Like the Sound of That’ for the first time on the radio, it made me want to call my girlfriend and cancel all my plans,” shares (high tenor) Austin Brown. “It’s just one of those feel-good love songs. I knew we had to put our Home Free-stamp on it.”

Rob Lundquist (tenor) adds, “We tried making complete fools of ourselves in the video and it came pretty natural to us.”

Dripping with sweet harmonies, Home Free’s infectious rendition of “I Like the Sound of That” – produced by Home Free and Darren Rust (also arranged by) – is available soon at digital retailers.

13266057_10153738343024007_2446316242453407910_nSupported by international acclaim, Home Free continues to take their ovation-worthy talents on the road, wowing audiences throughout the U.S. with select summer tour dates.
