A supporter of independent talent, Pop Blitz Magazine concentrates on music from some of today’s hottest unsigned artists in the Country and Pop genres. These monthly acoustic showcases at the popular West End neighborhood bar offer numerous dedicated songwriters a well-deserved solo spotlight.

Pop/Soul singer-songwriter, Taylor Gayle, will be hosting the night’s fesitivies as well as performing.

“I am excited and honored to host the Pop Blitz Magazine Songwriters Night,” Gayle said. “I love being a part of such a great event showcasing the immense talent in Nashville.”

TaylorGayle-2Taylor Gayle  Very few teenage music artists earn and discover the kind of success already experienced by Taylor Gayle. The pop and soul singer-songwriter has performed at some of the nation’s most popular venues and is representing the non-profit Notes for Notes where she most recently got the opportunity to open for Hunter Hayes. Taylor’s debut EP, Fly Away, was released in October 2016 and featured seven original songs focused on messages of self-acceptance and empowerment. Taylor has also received wide recognition for her songwriting talent. One of her singles, “Sophia’s Song”, placed in the Top 12 during the Nashville Songwriters Association International Spring Training and won the Song Academy’s International Category. The songstress can perform multiple genres of music ranging from classical to bluegrass, but finds her artistry most at home within the country music scene. Rae delivered her sophomore album, Come Find Me, in March of 2017. Inspired by personal growth and vulnerability, more than half of the fifteen tracks are either written or co-written by Rae. The first single, “But I Want You,” co-written by Jaida Dreyer, Fred Wilhelm, and Jay Knowles includes a prominent kick-drum and lead banjo riff paired with a sassy lead vocal. The official music video debuted on CMT. Declared “the next big thing in country music” (Country Common), Cox dropped his debut single Lie last month and was immediately featured on iTunes “Country Hot Tracks”.
