On Monday, July 23, 2018, country artist Adam Sanders hosted another tribute-filled night to honor country music of the 90s. In partnership with CMT‘s Hot 20 Countdown, hosts Cody Alan and Katie Cook emceed the “90s Night” concert that will be featured on this weekend’s edition of the country music program.

The nostalgic episode will air on Saturday, Aug. 4 at 9:00 a.m./ET and re-air Sunday, Aug. 5 at 9:00 a.m./ET.

“90s Night” matches young, up-and-coming acts with 90s icons to perform the ladders’ greatest hits. Paired artists included Travis Denning with Darryl Worley (“Awful, Beautiful Life“), Adam Sanders with Tracy LawerenceCarly Pearce with Deana CarterEaston Corbin with Doug Stone, and Brothers Osborne with Tracy Lawrence. Shenandoah closed out the show singing “Church on Cumberland Road” with all of the night’s performers.

All ticket proceeds from “90s Night” went directly to the T.J. Martell Foundation to support cancer research.

After reconnecting at “90s Night,” Big Machine’s Carly Pearce rejoined the Shenandoah boys on stage to sing their GRAMMY® Award-winning song, “Somewhere in the Vicinity of the Heart” at their concert on July 29, 2018, in Prior Lake, MI. Pearce’s mother used to take her to every Shenandoah show and would have Carly jump up on stage and sing this song with the band. Now with her own success in country music, drummer Mike McGuire recalls, “What a thrill it was to have her onstage with us again after sitting in several times years ago. How exciting to see her star rise!”

With the popularity of classic country tunes making a resurgence, Darryl Worley just wrapped his European Tour, performing six dates in one week in four different countries to packed out audiences. Worley also ensured he made time to visit our troops overseas and performed special tribute shows in their honor while there, receiving personal, guided tours of the bases he visited.

About Darryl Worley  There are many things Platinum-selling Darryl Worley has come to know over the course of his career in country music. One of those things is how to recognize a hit song— Worley has scored nearly 20 hit singles and three chart-topping hits with the self-penned “Awful, Beautiful Life,” the patriotic “Have You Forgotten,” and “I Miss My Friend.” He also recognizes the importance of giving back every opportunity that he can through his foundation, annual charity events and supporting the US military.
