The Bachelor appearance comes one week after “I Hate This,” which Tenille co-wrote with Adam Wheeler, hit the #1 spot on the Radio Disney Country Top 50 chart. The accompanying music video also surpassed 200,000 views on her YouTube page last week and has reached as high as #4 on iTunes.

“Last night’s performance on The Bachelor was a dream come true for me, and it continued into the morning when I woke up and saw ‘I Hate This’ sitting at #1 on iTunes,” said Tenille, who performed a rousing set at a viewing party packed with friends, family and industry last night. “I’m so excited that people are discovering and listening to my music and really appreciate the opportunities I’ve had with the show.”

Tenille’s scene for the show’s 23rd season was taped during a special concert at the Los Angeles Theatre. Cameras captured bachelor Colton Underwood on a date with Elyse Dehlbom in the ornate lobby of the theater. After giving her a coveted rose, Underwood surprised Dehlbom by walking her into the music hall packed with fans as Tenille and her band performed. The emotionally charged show marked Tenille’s second appearance on The Bachelor. She sang her original song, “Moment of Weakness,” on an episode one year ago, which led to her signing with Reviver Records.

Following an exciting – and late – night, Tenille was up early this morning for an extensive satellite radio tour promoting “I Hate This.” Interview after interview with Country radio stations across the U.S. asked about the show, the performance, the experience and what’s next. Tenille continues visiting Country stations in support of her single next week before heading to Canada to open dates for Neal McCoy. She is scheduled for a special performance during New York Fashion Week and will be dressed by a designer to be disclosed at a later date.
