LOVE LIVES ON spotlights 10 original and personal songs that honor the lives and dedication of our American servicemen and women, and the sacrifice of the fallen military heroes. Roots & American Music Society (RAMS), is a not-for-profit organization and record label based in Memphis. They have teamed up with Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) to orchestrate and create a meaningful recording project titled LOVE LIVES ON.
TAPS recently celebrated its 25th year providing care for the families of American fallen military heroes, the label and its award-winning producers, Jimmy Nichols/Frank Myers paired military families, who have lost a oved one, with some of the industries most notable hit songwriters (Gary Baker, Greg Barnhill, Liz Hengber, Brett James, Billy Montana, Phil O’Donnel and more) to bring to life heart-wrenching musical diaries as personal insights and recollections in remembrance of military heroes.
Poised to be a “vocal event”, Vince Gill, Billy Ray Cyrus, JOhn Rich, All-4-One, the Gatlin Brothers, Lonestar and manny other s lent their time and vocal talents to perform. A-list studio and touring musicians who appear on the album include Vinnie Calaiuta, Eric Darken, Dann Huff, David Hungate (Toto) and David Peck (Ambrosia).
The title track, “Love Lives On,” which released digitally on March 20, 2020, is signatured by Richie McDonald (Lonestar) who performs lead vocals, with a special appearance by Grammy-winning artist Vince Gill. Symbolic of the entire project, the tune shares hope as a “light at the end of the tunnel” for those who carry the burden of grief.
