As tour dates are paused, Lee Brice is still reaching fans with his music. Lee’s current single, “One of Them Girls,” which was released during quarantine, has proven to be his fastest rising single to date and currently sits at the #27 spot on the Billboard Country Chart and #24 on MediaBase. The track has received over 31.9 million streams on all digital streaming platforms and is becoming one of fans’ favorite songs of summer.
During last night’s CMA Summer Stay-Cay presented by Budweiser Nitro Gold virtual celebration, powerhouse duet partners, Brice and Carly Pearce, were presented with a plaque cementing PLATINUM status for their No. 1 hit “I Hope You’re Happy Now”. CMA CEO Sarah Trahern was on-hand to present the honor. The pair performed their smash collaboration, which has surpassed 225+ million global streams and is featured on Carly’s self-titled sophomore album via Big Machine Records. The track was penned by Pearce alongside Luke Combs, Jonathan Singleton and Randy Montana.
“I knew when I heard the song for the first time that this was something special and I’m honored that Carly asked me to be a part of it,” says Lee. “Thank you to all the fans for loving this song as much as Carly and I did recording it and making this a PLATINUM hit.”
“Having songs that meant something to people was always my dream,” expressed Carly. “To see these songs reach such big milestones and see that my music is making an impact on people’s lives is more than I could’ve ever hoped for. I will never take any of this for granted and am so thankful.”
In the variety show style livestream, Brice also performed his song, “Hey World,” which is a stripped-down piano ballad that is a reflection of the emotional toll that the current health crisis has taken. Lee recently performed “Hey World” on the TODAY Show for their Artist Lounge: At Home Series.
ABOUT LEE BRICE: When current ACM Award-nominated and Curb Records recording artist Lee Brice isn’t selling out arenas, writing and recording songs, or building new brands like American Born whiskey, you’ll find the family man with his wife Sara, two young boys, and daughter. Meanwhile, with more than1.9 billion on-demand streams, and three billion spins on Pandora, Brice continues to enjoy massive success at country radio, digital streaming services, and on the road. His latest mega-hit, “Rumor,” is nominated in the category Single of the Year at the 55th Annual ACM Awards. One of the most-played country artists of all time on Pandora, he is a member of the company’s “Billionaires Club,” becoming only the second country artist behind Keith Urban to receive the Pandora Billionaire plaque. Lee is also a GRAMMY nominee, a CMA nominee and a double ACM award winner, and he’s taken six radio singles to Number One: “A Woman Like You,” “Hard To Love,” “I Drive Your Truck,” “I Don’t Dance,” “Drinking Class,” and “Rumor.” Garth Brooks, Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney and others have recorded his songs, and he’s performed on numerous TV shows, including NBC’s TODAY, ABC’s The Bachelor, NBC’s The Voice and FOX’s Miss USA 2018, and has performed as part of the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song honoring Garth Brooks. ABOUT CARLY PEARCE: Carly Pearce’s kind of Country transcends the moment. Fiercely rooted in the classics, the girl who left her Kentucky home and high school at 16 to take a job at Dollywood has grown into a woman who embraces the genre’s forward progression. A loyal advocate of Country music’s legacy and future, she has performed at the Grand Ole Opry 75 times since her debut while the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum® partnered on Unbroken Circle: Exploring Country Music History with Carly Pearce. The PLATINUM-certified “Every Little Thing’s” ascent designated Carly as one of only four solo female debuts to chart at No. 1 since 2015. The diversity of Carly’s connection saw her win CMT Music Awards’ Breakthrough Video of the Year and Radio Disney Music Award for The Freshest! – Radio Disney Country Best New Artist, plus tours with Blake Shelton, Rascal Flatts, Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean. The down-to-earth female vocalist has quickly carved out her own highly honest, emotionally compelling place in a very Pop-Country world. Working again – and unknowingly, for the last time – with busbee, her self-titled sophomore album (Big Machine Records) maintains her roots and his contemporary sense. The project produced Carly’s second chart-topper, “I Hope You’re Happy Now,” a song she wrote alongside Luke Combs, Jonathan Singleton and Randy Montana. The PLATINUM-certified duet with Lee Brice has amassed 225+ million global streams.http://www.countryschatter.com/2020/07/lee-brice-carly-pearce-earn-precious-metal/AwardsHonorsPress Release"I Hope You're Happy Now","One of Them Girls",billboard country chart,Carly Pearce,CMA Summer Stay-Cay presented by Budwiser Nitro Gold, facebook,Lee Brice,Platinum Single,Sarah Trahern
