Aaron Tippin, pictured here on stage at the Appalachian Fair, has a few dates on his calendar right now – most in the warmer parts of the U.S. Aaron will be in Panama City, Fla. on March 29; Laughlin, Nev. on April 12; Vidalia, Ga. on April 26; and Temple, Texas on May 2.
While he is probably remembered most for his three number one hits, “There Ain’t Nothing Wrong with the Radio;” “That’s as Close as I’ll get to Loving You;” and “Kiss This”, many people immediately think of Aaron when they hear “Where the Stars and Stripes and the Eagles Fly.” That is probably my favorite Aaron Tippin song, and it did get to number 2 on the country charts.
Congratulations to Rodney Adkins who became the first act since 2001 to land four number one singles off the same album on Billboard’s country singles chart with “Cleaning This Gun” off his current CD If You’re Going Through Hell.” This is the third week for “Cleaning This Gun” to sit at the top spot on the country charts.
Rodney seems to have a well deserved rest planned. His tour schedule appears to be open between now and May 9, and then picks up June 15 with a show in Cleveland, Ohio; June 26 in Grand Junction, Colo.; June 26 in Green River, Wyo.; and June 29 in Manhattan, Kan.
Looking forward to hearing from each of you real soon! Take care!
