The closer we get to election time, the more likely we are to hear about who stands where. Toby Keith said he has always been a democrat, until this year. The singer said that he really doesn’t agree with either party, and has registered as an Independent this year.
"It’s strictly because my party doesn’t stand for anything that I stand for anymore," he said. "They’ve allowed all the crooks in, so I’m going independent."
It doesn’t surprise me that Toby would step up, speak out, and let us all know how he’s feeling about things.
Trace Adkins has picked one of Hollywood’s award-winning actors, Stephen Baldwin, to star in his video for "Muddy Water," the first single off his upcoming Trace Adkins X album. The video will debut on CMT and GAC tonight, so get ready for that one!
Trace and Stephen met during the filming of Celebrity Apprentice. "I know Stephen’s story, and I just thought it would be a song he could identify with," Trace said. "It’s cool to have a real pro come in here." The song is about a man going back home for his baptism.
Stephen said he’s excited about being a part of the video. "It’s a beautiful song – the way it’s been written and performed, I think it’s something that can really relate with a lot of people," he said.
