Brittany Johnson (left) and I headed to WXBQ Radio earlier today to pass out Christmas gifts to the deejays and their rabbit. We always try to go between shifts, so we can spend a little time chatting with the one going off the air and the one coming on.
Today we got there at the end of Reggie Neel’s (right) shift and got to spend a little time with him, and incoming Marc Tragler (lower left).
Somewhere during this busy day, I actually got to do a little more Christmas shopping. I’m still wondering if I will be done by Christmas.
We spent some time at the station and also got to see a few of the great ladies from the sales staff and office staff.
After we left the station, we hopped over to Kingsport to see our famous rabbit at a remote at Zoomers, a new gas station/convenience store. And, an added bonus (as if getting to visit the rabbit isn’t enough), we got gas for $1.29 a gallon. It’s not going to stay there, that was the special price during the live broadcast.
Here’s the rabbit at the remote, a gas sign I haven’t seen for a long time, and a few photos from the walls of WXBQ radio.
Talk to you all tomorrow! Or later tonight.
