I’m looking forward to this one… Ronnie Milsap will release a new CD on March 10. The title is “Then Sings My Soul.” I like Ronnie. I have no doubt I’ll spend many hours enjoying this new CD. The album includes 24 Favorite Hymns and Gospel Songs.
You can hear some of the songs on this CD at That Nashville Sound web site.
In addition to having 40 No. 1 hits during his career, he has also sold more than 25 million records. Ronnie won seven Grammy awards, four Academy of Country Music awards, and eight Country music Association awards.
It’s starting to look as if January is a good month of the year to stay home. Ronnie has a few tour dates up on his calendar, but they start in February (like Trace and a few of the others). On Feb. 17, you will find Ronnie at Valle Del Oro in Mesa, Airz., and then he moves over to Mesa Regal Resort on the 18th. Feb. 20, he will be in Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort in Mt. Pleaant, Mich., and then the end of March he has something coming up in Marco Island, Fla. there are a few other spring dates up, including a May 23 date at the Little Nashville Opry in Nashville.
I really tried, but I just couldn’t leave this without including “Almost Like a Song” – the one that has always been and always will be my favorite Ronnie Milsap song.
Bye. Don’t forget to write! Talk to you all soon.
