On Nov. 18, the day Randy Houser’s CD was released, Reggie Neel got to interview Randy on the air – at WXBQ Radio in Bristol. And, I wanted to share that interview with all of you. When you hear it, you’ll know why I wanted to put it up here. Randy actually talked about me! (Thanks, Randy – that was so nice).
I got to spend a little time with Randy when he did a concert at Winged Deer Park in Johnson City last Spring. I’ve said this a hundred times –and will probably say it a hundred more, but the kid is not only a talented singer/songwriter and super entertainer, but he’s also very nice to his fans, and really goes out of his way to spend time with them.

For those of you who aren’t in the WXBQ listening area – you can now listen to them! They’re streaming! Just go to WXBQ’s web site, and click on “Listen Live.”
I already told you that Randy will be part of that fantastic lineup for Sound & Speed in Nashville Jan. 9-10, but I just checked his tour dates on his web page, and see from this list that he better taken his mittens and scarf along with him. He will be in Grand Forks, N.D. on Jan. 28; Council Bluffs, Iowa on Jan. 29; and Chicago, Ill. on Jan. 30.
I have to thank Reggie for allowing me to share this interview with all of you. Reggie is the 10 a.m.-3 p.m. weekday deejay, and with the streaming in place, you can all hear him now! Along with the rest of the WXBQ Crew.
That’s all for now. I’ll see you guys tomorrow… and Happy New Year to everyone! Watch the Rose Bowl Parade, take in a football game or two, and relax. As for me – I guess it’s time to take the tree down. Christmas is officially over for another year at my house.
