Matt Stillwell is a country singer, songwriter and guitarist. He grew up in the Appalachian Mountains – He’s from the western part of North Carolina, I’m from the eastern part of Tennessee, also in the Appalachian Mountains. Just thought I’d throw that in there, cause I ramble sometimes.
I needed to get this up here for you guys today, even though I already put something up earlier – and I’m doing that for two reasons. First, because I actually had time, and secondly – because those of you in the Northeast Tennessee-Southwest Virginia-Western North Carolina area will want to know that Matt is going to be at Capone’s in Johnson City, Tenn. on Valentine’s Day. (Capone’s is located at 327 E. Main St., Johnson City). I think the show begins at 10:00 p.m., but you can call Capone’s at 928-2295 for all the details.
Matt has a MySpace page with six songs there that you can listen too. He’s got show shows listed on his page, and will be going to Coyote Joe’s in Charlotte on Friday, Feb. 20; Mulligan’s Sports Bar & Grill, Thursday, Feb. 21; Rum runner’s in Statesboro, Ga., on Feb. 26; Nashville for the CRS Show on March 4; and The Loft in Columbus, Ga., on March 6.
Here’s a look at Matt’s video, and a brief recipe about how to make Moonshine.
That’s it for now. Any of you close enough – I hope to see you at Capone’s. If I get there, you’ll for sure get more pictures of Matt here in the next couple of days.
