Toby Keith is about to start work on this third movie, “Provinces of Night,” w hich is being filed in Wilmington, N.C. I’m not sure if it co-stars Hilary Duff, but she’s in it. I mean, I’m not sure if Toby is a lead character, or what the story is. But anything Toby is in will definitely go on my “I have to see this movie” list.
I actually liked Broken Bridges – a lot. And I even enjoyed Beer for my Horses – but I guess that’s just because I like Toby so much. Anyway, you can read all about the movie here. The article does say that Hilary Duff, Toby Keith, Pell James and Bruce McGill will star in the project – so there you go – they’re the stars.
The movie is based on a book, which has been reviewed at Amazon.command gives a little info about the story-line (a teenager in 1950s rural Tennessee finds himself home alone after his father runs off to find and kill his wife’s lover.) Ok … I’m sure sure if I should read the book or wait for the movie.
Bill Vassar, executive vice president of EUE/Screen Gems in Wilmington said the local crews will be working on the film for five weeks.
There’s probably not a Toby fan out there who hasn’t seen Broken Bridges … but just in case someone did miss it, here’s the movie trailer.
Toby’s sixth annual Toby Keith and Friends Golf Classic, to benefit Ally’s House, will be held June 12-13 in Norman, Okla. This event has raised more than $2.3 million to benefit Ally’s House, an organization that helps pediatric cancer patients and their families across the state.
More later – did I get your e-mail answered yet? If not, just a little more patience and I’ll have an answer off to you. Have a great day!
