It’s almost Monday again. There are a few nights of the week I wait for – Monday is one of them. That’s because I’ll get to see Dancing with the Stars again. After a long day at work, I love coming home, kicking my shoes off, propping up my little feet and watching that show.
And of course I’ll have to watch on Tuesday, because that’s when we get to see who got kicked off the show. Sorry, I mean voted off. But this week, it’s also the night we’ll get to see Rascal Flatts perform their new single, “Here Comes Goodbye”. The boys were on the show last year, too, when they sang “Life Is A Highway.”
Here’s a clip of Julianne and Chuck getting ready for Monday nights competition. I really think it must be easier for them to practice and work together, since they are a couple.
At the end of last season, Julianne said that she would not be returning to Dancing with the Stars this year. But of course all that changed when Chuck Wicks was invited to dance on the show… and she decided to stay.
But Julianne says this will definitely be her last year. She is going to continue with her music career, and having just been named the ACM Top New Artist of the Year, I’m sure everyone can understand her decision to work more on her music. But I will will miss her on DWTS. An d I think a lot of other people will as well.
Just noticed Julianne has several tour dates up on her MySpace page. Several of them are festivals or fairs, in Florida, Alabama and Kansas.
As for Chuck, you can pretty much keep up with him by visiting his web site. He doesn’t have a lot up there yet, as far as show dates go, but I’m sure it won’t take long to fill in the empty dates.
It’s nearly time to get this huge Easter ham in the oven, peel some potatoes, and get ready for church. I’ll talk to you all soon. Have a great Holiday!
