Tim McGraw has another movie. Did you guys all see him in “Friday Night Lights,” “Flicka,” “Four Christmases,” and … wasn’t there another one? Well, if there wasn’t another one, there’s going to be. Tim will be co-starring with Sandra Bullock in “The Blind Side.” He plays her husband. The movie will begin shooting in Atlanta the end of April.
Tim will play the part of Sean Touhy, and Sandra will play the part of Leigh Anne, his wife. The movie is based on a best selling novel by Michael Lewis, called “The Blind Side: Evolution of the Game.” It tells the true story of Michael Oher, a homeless African-American teen from a broken home who is taken in by a well-to-do white family that sees extraordinary promise in him. (Oher’s real life success will be highlighted next month, when he is expected to be a first found pick in the NFL draft.)
In addition to Sandra’s acting, she also has producing and music credits on her very long list of accomplishments. You can check out that list on Yahoo movies.
It looks like Tim planned his concert schedule around the movie – at least he is taking enough time away from the stage to work on the movie. His MySpace concert schedule starts on June 27, and is posted through August 8. You can check out all the dates, times and places here.
We’re going back more than a few years for this video – but here’s Tim’s “Don’t Take the Girl,” from his 1994 album “Not a Moment Too Soon.”
Time to go. Talk to you later – tonight is e-mail response night … so anyone I owe mail to, get ready – there will be one on it’s way later this evening. Have a great day!
