Brooks and Dunn have been a part of country music for a very long time. They’ve won one award after the next, they’ve put out one hit after the next, and they have sold a whole lot of concert tickets. But all that is about to come to an end.’
The duo put the following announcement on their web site. on their web site:

After 20 years of making music and riding this trail together, we have
agreed as a duo that it’s time call it a day. This ride has been
everything and more than we could ever have dreamed…. We owe it all

You can pre-order their “#1’s … And Then Some” CD by clicking here. The CD includes 30 tracks, 23 of them were No. 1 hits for the duo. Their first four singles, taken from their debut album ‘Neon Moon’ are featured on the new collection as well. All four of those singles reached No. 1 on the country chart.
In addition to the tour dates the guys have up on their web site through the fall, they are also planning a farewell tour for 2010.
I’m going to miss these two in the world of country music. At least we’ll still have their music.
