Attention country music lovers: Exclusive photos from the rising country band sensation Gloriana, are now LIVE! This vocal quartet rocked the Madison Square Garden stage last Thursday night with their energetic, Nashville sound. Check out the photos here.
Early in August, I reviewed the debut album for this group, and to say the least – I was really impressed! Now they are on my list of “entertainers I really want to see in concert.” Thanks to the work of photographer David Atlas, we can take a look at a few shots of Tom Gossin, Mike Gossin, Rachel Reinert and Cheyenne Kimball, doing their thing at Madison Square Garden.
I didn’t know this until I did a little internet research (how did we ever manage without the Internet) … but Gloriana’s Cheyenne Kimble won NBC’s “America’s Most Talented Kid” in 2003, and later starred in her own MTV series. Everyone in country music works long and hard to achieve success. And for this group, the dedication and hard work is obviously paying off. Gloriana’s “Wild at Heart” is No. 15 on this week’s Top 40 chart. Very impressive for any debut single.
On the same bill were headliner Taylor Swift, and her good friend, Kellie Pickler. How nice for New York City to get a country show with so much talent! The show was Thursday, Aug. 27.
In addition to their official web site, Gloriana have a great MySpace page, with music, and a very long list of upcoming shows. The schedule will take you through Dec. 2, so check it out and find out when this great new group will be near you!
Thanks to Aaron for sending me the link to MSG.com, and giving me permission to use these great pictures of Gloriana! (Photo Credit: David Atlas).
