I’m kind of old. We’ve discussed that already. So I remember things like comedy CD’s, even though back in the day of Bill Cosby, George Carlin, Foster Brooks and even George Burns, they were comedy albums, or comedy tapes, or even comedy 8-tracks.
But today, I received a review copy of Larry the Cable Guy’s new CD, “Tailgate Party”. And trust me, if you had a long, very hard day at work, and if it’s a Monday… that’s the perfect time to listen to this CD.
I don’t now who the first person was who ever said, “You just gotta laugh” – but trust me … when you listen to this CD, you just gotta. Full of new jokes, and familiar phrases like “Now I don’t care who you are, that’s funny.” it’s his delivery as well as his material that makes him one of today’s most entertaining comedians. He’s different, and he’s good.
He has 13 spots on the CD, which include “Tailgate Party,” Global Warming,” “Buying in Bulk,” “Bad Ventriloquist,” and several others before finishing up with “Silly Songs & So Long.”
Like most of Larry’s material though, what you’re going to hear on this CD is definitely not for children – and I don’t think I’d even want younger teens listening to it (for those of you who don’t consider them children). But for grown ups with a sense of humor like Larry’s – they’re going to enjoy this.
This one is definitely a stocking stuffer for your full-grown aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and even your spouse – who likes the kind of humor that only Larry the Cable guy can dish out. But, I’m sure most of us have at least one person on our Christmas list who would enjoy finding this in their stocking, or with a pretty bow on it under the tree.
That’s all for this morning. You guys enjoy your Tuesday, and I’ll talk to you tomorrow. Remember to drop me a line when you get a chance. Love your mail!
