We have definitely got some new music to look forward to! On Tuesday, Oct. 20, Bomshel will release their CD “Fight Like A Girl.”
WXBQ Radio is giving away Bomshel’s new CD, and a Fight Like A Girl tee-shirt during their “Win it before you can buy it free music weekend.” So everyone in the WXBQ listening area, get your little dialing finger ready, you won’t want to miss this one.
Tim McGraw’s “Southern Voice” will also release on Oct. 20. And you don’t have to wait to listen to that one. You can hear the whole CD by clicking here. I listened to it last night, and I like it. I’ve always liked Tim’s music, so that shouldn’t surprise me that this CD is definitely going in my collection. In addition to “It’s a Business Doing Pleasure With You,” his current single; the CD also has “Still,” “Ghost Town Train,” “Good Girls,” “I Didn’t Know it at the Time,” “If I Died Today,” “Mr. Whoever You Are,” “Southern Voice,” “You Had to be There,” “I’m Only Jess,” “Forever Seventeen,” and “Love You Goodbye.”
Joe Nichols fans will be able to pick up “Old Things New,” on Oct. 27. The Boot has a story up about how Joe is helping fellow addicts. Joe had admitted to his addiction to alcohol, and he is now encouraging others to conquer their addiction, too. He has teamed up with Hopeline, an outreach program that helps people face addiction issues. You can read the whole article here.
Taylor Swift’s fans get to grab the Platinum Edition of “Fearless” on Oct. 27, too. There’s just no slowing this young lady down. Her schedule is full of concert dates, and she always seems to have more than one project going at a time. Visit her website to keep up with what she has coming up.
Carrie Underwood’s “Play On” CD will be out on Nov. 3. If it’s anything like her previous albums, it’s going to be great.
I keep talking about the CDs I want to add to my Christmas list, but I think I might need a new CD storage unit, too. I should probably get with the times, and buy songs online instead of having the actual CDs. But, I still like having the CDs, so I’ll probably keep doing it that way.
Time to get out and try to enjoy the cold, rainy, starting to look (and feel) like winter weekend. I’ll talk to you guys soon!
