On Dec. 31, when most of us were trying to figure out how we were going to spend New Year’s Eve (those of us who don’t plan ahead, I mean) … Keith Urban and Nicole took their 17-month-old daughter, Sunday Rose to a zoo in Australia.
Celebrity Baby Scoop is also reporting that the Urban family took a walk through a park in Sydney the day before. We’ve seen pictures of them out and about in Nashville, too. I’m glad they are able to get out and do things. It can’t be easy when everyone in the world recognizes you.
Keith has been in the news a lot lately. He was also recently named to two of The Boot’s lists – he was on the Artists of the Decade and Best Albums of the 2000’s Lists.
Whenever I write about Keith, I make sure I visit his web page and find out what’s going on over there … today, I found out that Keith has a lot of merchandise on sale! So if you didn’t spend all your money at Christmas – head on over to Keith’s Official Store. There are sale items, new merchandise, Defying Gravity items, Monkeyville Exclusives, Accessories, and even Gift Certificates you can give your favorite Keith fan for their birhtday. Love the little bear!
Keith already has a few 2010 tour dates up on his web site, too. Country Thunder, April 6, in Florence, Ariz.; Stagecoach Festival in Indio, Calif., on April 24; Bayou Country Superfest, Baton Rouge, La., May 29; and Manhattan, Kan. for the Country Stampede on June 25. And remember, he’s also got the Saturday night show at this year’s Country Concert 2010 in Ft. Loramie, Ohio, in July. I’m sure it won’t be long before we see a lot more dates on that tour schedule.
Here’s Keith’s appearance on Ellen last April. You get a great interview, and of course … a song!
Very cold here in Tennessee this morning – and the weather reports are saying we probably won’t get above freezing all week! If there was ever a time I hoped the weather report was wrong – it’s now.
You guys have a great Monday. I’ll talk to you all soon!
