Just a few nights ago, I had the opportunity of joining in on a chat with Sarah Buxton, on UStream. I am new to UStream, and I’m just loving it. Sarah sang, and she chatted with us, and answered questions from fans. It was just really fun. She seemed to be enjoying it, too. (More recently, I spent time with Jimmy Wayne during one of his UStream chats. I think I’ll be in there a lot while these chats are going on. We’ll talk about that one later)
This was a great opportunity for me to learn more about Sarah Buxton. I love her song, “Outside My Window.” And from what little I know about her, I think she’s going to make a great addition to Martina McBride and Trace Adkins “Shine All Night” tour. Sarah has just been added to the latest leg of the tour, and will be in Little Rock, Ark., with the pair on Jan. 22.
For those of you who somehow missed seeing Sarah’s video for “Outside My Window,” have a look at on CMT. You’re going want to sing along and tap your feet. She’s that kind of entertainer.
Sarah will be releasing her self-titled debut album on Lyric Street on Feb. 23, and is also planning her wedding to guitar player Tom Bukovac. And, this talented songwriter co-wrote Keith Urban’s hit, “Stupid Boy.”
I’d say she has a lot going for her, and we’re definitely going to be hearing a lot more form Sarah in the future. I’m definitely looking forward to her debut album, and actually looking forward to her next single, too.
Sarah has a great MySpace page, managed by Lyric Street Records, has some great songs, great photos, and even her video.
I’m very impressed with Sarah. I definitely plan on adding her CD to my collection, and hope to get the chance to see her in concert sometime soon.
Here’s Sarah’s video, “Innocence”.
I have to get myself moving here. I’ll talk to you guys soon. I plan on answering mail tonight, so If I owe yu a message, you should have it by the end of the day.
