On Wednesday, March 1o, Bucky Covington was doing a show for WKMK 98.5 in Orange County, New Jersey. The show as at a place called the Shark Fin. And either the Shark Fin Inn isn’t very big, or Bucky just has far more fans than the radio station anticipated.
I have been to some shows at smaller venues, where I found myself wondering “what in the world is the capacity for this place.” Many times it was a standing room only crowd, with people pushing toward the stage with their cameras, and me saying “this is a great show, but I have got to get out of here.”
I don’t know for sure, but apparently the show on Wednesday night was something like that. The show was temporarily shut down because of overcrowding, and police had to usher a number of folks out because the building had passed its capacity level.
According to the folks at Lyric Street Records, Bucky was just about to perform when the show was shut down. According to Captain Jack, one of WKMK, the crowd was orderly and well-behaved. When Bucky got back on stage to do his show, he promised to come back to play for the fans that didn’t get to see him that night.
That doesn’t surprise me about Bucky. I’ve seen his shows several times. The kid really works hard for his audience. And, I’ve had the opportunity to meet him, and I know he enjoys meeting the fans as much as they enjoy meeting him.
Remember to call your favorite radio station and request Bucky’s new single, “A Father’s Love (The Only Way He Knew How). You can read about that single, and get more Bucky news here.
The pictures on this page are from the show at The Shark Fin. Bucky and Captain Jack did a live broadcast before the show. For more pictures of the show from The Shark Fin Inn, check out WKMK’s web site.
Time for me to get started on my Saturday. I do believe the rain is gone – at least for now – so I just might have to find something fun to do today. Talk to you all soon!

I’ve been to Bucky’s shows. His vocals are great. I love his new song, “A Father’s Love”. He sings it from his heart
Apparently, Bucky’s fanbase was underestimated and double the capacity showed up for Bucky’s performance. He puts on a great show and tries very hard to give the fans what they came to see. His new single is an awesome song and, hopefully, will give him a long awaited #1.
I’m totally loving Bucky’s new song, “A Father’s Love.” I think this one is going to take him to the top of the charts.
