It just dawned on me that Bucky Covington is an artist that really could go by just his first name. I’m certain that if anyone would say, “Did you hear Bucky’s new single” – everyone would know who they were talking about. I have heard Bucky’s new single, and I really like it. And from what we’re hearing from radio stations around the country, I’m definitely not the only one.
In a press release I received today, a lot of people out there agree with me, and many of our country radio stations across the country are saying this song is possibly Bucky’s best one yet. The press release also talks about Bucky’s current radio tour, and includes some of the places he will be and the dates he will be there. It’s definitely one of those press releases that I’m going to share with you all, exactly as I received it… but with a few added photos of Bucky.

The buzz amongst country radio is that this is Bucky’s best song yet and the overwhelmingly positive chatter keeps coming in.

Written by Liz Hengber, Thom Shephjensenerd and Steve Williams, this heartfelt mid-tempo song tells the story of a father who shows his children how much he loves them by taking care of all the little things in life. The record is from his forthcoming sophomore album, I’m Alright, to be released in fall 2010 on Lyric Street Records. Recently, “A Father’s Love,” was featured as an exclusive FIRST LISTEN on PEOPLE.COM and can still be previewed on the site.
Bucky is currently on the road visiting radio and playing tour dates all across the country with upcoming shows in Fletcher, N.C. (3/26), Mt. Airey, N.C. (3/27), Florence, S.C. (4/2), Midway Park, N.C. (4/9) and Mt. Laurel, N.J. (4/10) in the coming weeks.
That’s all for now, it’s time for me to get ready for work, and time for all of you to start calling your favorite country station to request “A Father’s Love,”. I’ll talk to you all soon!
