I hardly know where to begin with this one. Seems every time I open an e-mail lately, there’s something in there about Tim McGraw. But it’s actually all really cool stuff.
First of all, Tim and Dwight Yoakam, who both appeared in the 2008 movie, Four Christmases, with Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn, will join forces again for an upcoming movie called “Dirty Girl.” The movie is a comedy that takes place in Oklahoma in the late 1980s. It’s about a high school tramp who runs away with a friend. They apparently run off to look for her father. The movie will star William H. Macy, Milla Jovovich and Mary Steenburgen. Mary, by the way, was in the movie Four Christmases, with Tim and Dwight.
Tim is busy now with his Southern Voice tour. Filming for the movie is expected to begin in the fall.
Somehow, in the midst of his busy schedule, Tim is going to spend a few hours at Opry Mills Mall on April 1. He will be at Barnes & Noble, signing copies of his second book. This one called “Love Your Heart.” Anyone who purchases Tim’s book at the Opry Mills book store, beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 1, will get a wristband, numbered, and a guaranteed place in line for the autograph. The signing will be from 6-8 p.m. I have feeling that place is going to be quite crowded. Now, if I could just convince Mr. McGraw to come visit our local Barnes & Noble, I’d be one of those people there early enough to get a wrist-band.
We can add new album to the list of things on Tim’s list of “stuff to do.” Although he didn’t say when this might happen, Tim did say in an interview with The Vancouver Sun, that he and his wife might be working on a full-length duet album. “It’s just a matter of time,” Tim told the newspaper during a telephone interview. He had a show in Vancouver on Thursday (March 25). Photo Credit: Chris Schwarz, Canwest News Service
More later. Have a great Sunday!
