A long time ago, when I first got a MySpace page, Jaida Dreyer found me, and became one of my first MySpace friends. And, when I finally caught up with the rest of the social networking world and got a Twitter account, there was Jaida Dryer, one of my first followers.
I’ve listened to her music a lot. Sometimes I come home from the office, and head directly to her MySpace page just to listen to her again.
I’ve read her comments on Twitter, and I just got so used to her being around, that I guess I thought everyone else knew her, too. I mentioned her music to a friend recently, and his response was “who?” I just shook my head. How is it I never did a post about Jaida Dreyer. This should have happened a long time ago.
This talented young lady lives in Nashville. She has nearly 60,000 MySpace Friends, and her site has been viewed by nearly 100,000 people. Jaida is not a singer who couldn’t make it in any other genre so she settled for country …. Jaida IS country. If I absolutely had to pick a favorite song from her MySpace, It would be “Want Me”. But I really like them all.
Jaida has also done shows with Eric Church and Jason Aldean, and is definitely making a name for herself in and around Nashville.
9513 Country Music did a story on Jaida on April 12, 2010. They titled it “Introducing Jaida Dreyer: “My Story is a Blessing in a Blender”. It’s a great article, with a lot of information about Jaida. I hope you will all read the article at 9513.
I hope Jaida will make an appearance in Northeast Tennessee sometime very soon. I’m really looking forward to being able to catch a show.
In the meantime, here’s a little video for all of you. It’s “No More Mondays,” another one of my favorite Jaida Dreyer songs! Remember to check out her MySpace for more music and info.
I better go. Thanks for reading, thanks for all your e-mails, and to Jaida,, sorry this took so long. But I’m glad I got something up now!
Have a great day everyone! More later!
