Eric Church, Laura Bell Bundy and Joe Nichols are on the cover of the current issue of Billboard Magazine.
There’s an article in this issue that I really want to read – it talks about the many different sounds of today’s artists – all of whom consider themselves to be country.
I have a problem with some of today’s country artists … like the ones who aren’t country (which seems to be more and more of them every day). Yet, for the most part, I like what I’m hearing – I said, for the most part .. there are exceptions.
Do I prefer to traditional, older country music? Absolutely. But I’m certainly not turning a deaf ear toward some of our newer artists out there on country radio.
Guess I’m going to have to round up a copy of the new Billboard magazine and check out this article. I’m wondering if I agree with what they think is country. Do you think they have that magazine at Barnes & Noble?
Talk to you all later!
