I only have a little time this morning, but it seemed like the perfect time to give you all a little look at our first Lakeside Cinema night for 2010. You already know that the movies will be shown every Thursday night in June. The first night was “The Spy Next Door”. It was a cute movie, and the kids really enjoyed it. (I did, too – guess there’s a part of me that is still a kid.)
There were games and prizes for the kids, lots of great food, and all the WXBQ deejays were on hand – except Marcus Brooks. Someone had to keep the station on the air. There were children, adults, babies, and even dogs stopped by to see the show; and the weather could not have been more perfect.
I thought I’d just get a few pictures up this morning, of some of the people who came to enjoy the first night of this year’s Lakeside Cinema.
If you weren’t part of the audience Thursday night, here’s a little of what you missed. If you were in the audience — have a look at the pictures, because you might be part of this.
Time to run – hope you all have a good Saturday!
Talk to you real soon!
