This has been one crazy year for scheduling entertainment at our local Appalachian Fair in Gray, Tenn. But I wanted to tell you what I found out recently….
With the exception of Danny Gokey on Monday, Aug. 23, and David Nail on Thursday, Aug. 26, the rest of these are tentative. But we should have confirmation very soon!
I’m really hoping it will stay this way – as you can see, Rodney Adkins will not be coming on Tuesday now, he had to cancel, due to a family conflict. And The Band Perry has moved from Saturday to Friday, making room for Jaron to fill in that opening.
So, here you go — Appalachian Fair Week entertainment schedule, as of right now.
Monday, Aug. 23 – Danny Gokey; Tuesday, Aug. 24, Troy Olsen; Wednesday, Aug. 25, Colt Ford; Thursday, Aug. 26, David Nail; Friday, Aug. 27, The Band Perry; and Saturday, Aug. 28, Jaron and the Long Road to Love.
Tickets are scheduled to go on sale on Saturday morning, July 31, 2010, at the ticket office on the Fairgrounds.
Tickets for the shows (bleacher seats) are included with your gate admission, however, if you want reserved seating for these great shows, you will want to be in the ticket line on the 31st of July, to make sure you are down front, up close, and ready to put these artists in your camera’s lens.
Hope you guys had a great weekend! It’s good to be back! Contest starting tomorrow – you won’t want to miss this one!
Later,
