Revolution Miranda Lambert, along with opening acts Josh Kelley and Eric Church, will be in Bristol, Tenn., on Oct. 30, the CMT on Tour show at Viking Hall. It’s going to be a great show, and I know everyone is looking forward to seeing this young lady who’s album, “Revolution” has been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. That honor goes to any album that exceeds one million copies sold.

I got to see Miranda a few years ago when she was at our local fair. She’s a great entertainer, and from the looks of her award nominations, I’d say she’s finally getting the recognition she so rightly deserves.

Miranda She has had two number one songs from this album, “White Liar,” and my favorite Miranda song, “The House That Built Me.”  The album was already named Album of the year by the Academy of Country Music,at its award show in May, and she is also up for Album of the year in the Country Music Association awards, scheduled for November.

In fact, Miranda is nominated for nine CMA awards this year, including Entertainer of the year.

"It’s unbelievable. I’m really shocked at some of my nominations!" a beaming Miranda said on ABC’s ‘Good Morning America’ after announcing the nominees.
"2010 is definitely my lucky year," Miranda continued. "I’ve started putting ’10’ on everything. I got engaged, now the CMAs … I didn’t even think I was eligible for nine awards!"

It’s Monday. I better get moving here. Hope you all have a great week. Write when you get a minute!

Talk to you soon,
Country
