I’ve already told you all about the Kellie Pickler and Trace Adkins shows at this year’s Fun Fest in Kingsport, Tenn. Now it’s time to share a few pictures of the opening acts with all of you. Our openers were Kip Moore, The McClymonts and Jordyn Shellhart
On Friday night, Kellie had The McClymonts and Jordyn Shellhart . On Saturday night, Trace had Kip Moore opening for him. Most of us know who Kip is because of his current single “Mary was the Marrying Kind,” which is all over country radio right now. Kip was really good on stage. And obviously was having a lot of fun, in spite of the heat and humidity!
I missed most of Jordyn’s performance. That was during the really bad thunder storm, and unfortunately, it was a very short performance. Jordyn only sand a few songs when the stadium was evacuated because of the storm. Jordyn is a 17-year old high school senior. I hope you will visit her page to learn more about her. The pictures of Jordyn on this post were taken by a friend of mine, Amanda, who was inside the stadium for more of Jordyn’s performance than I was.
When we got back in, the McClymonts came on. They put on a good show. The trio is sisters Brooke, Samantha and Mollie, from Australia. You can hear some of their music on their web site, too. I think my favorite song is “Finally Over Blue.” I’m surprised that one hasn’t been released as a single. If it was, I missed it somehow. “Wrapped Up Good” is also a good song, with a very entertaining, race-car themed video.
Here are a few pictures of the opening acts for this year’s Fun fest. And since I have a little room – one more Kellie and one more Trace.
Remember, this is definitely the time of year for fairs, festivals, and outdoor concerts. As well as the indoor ones. I would love to share your concert pictures with my readers, so if you have any you would like to share, please send them my way.!
More later!
