Have you all been following Casey James’ country music career? He has so many fans; he has a new single, “Let’s Don’t Call it a Night,” which debuted at No. 57 on Billboard’s National Radio Airplay Chart; he’s been visiting radio stations; playing fairs across the country; and he opened for Sugarland during part of their recent tour. And, he has a very dedicated fan doing a very impressive blog, that you can read by clicking here. I’d say the kid is off to a very good start.
99.9 FM Kiss Country has announced that Casey will be one of the performers at their 2011 Guitar Jam, to be held Nov. 15 at the Orange Peel in Asheville, N.C. They will be announcing one artist each day on their web site. I’m certain I recognize some of the silhouettes above, but we’ll wait for the official announcement from Kiss before we say anything more about this. Asheville is only about 45 minutes from me. I’d love to see Casey, but so far I’m not making many plans for November, we’ll have to wait and see.
Casey has a lot of shows coming up – so I hope all of you will visit his web site and find out when he’s going to be getting to an area near you. Keep and eye on his web site and The Casey James Blog, too. And you can follow him on Twitter. I love the artists who get on there and tweet to their fans. Technology has certainly made it easier for artists and fans to really communicate. Follow him @CaseyEJames.
Need to get ready and get to the office. I’ll talk to you all soon. Tonight is Tuesday, hopefully a slow night for me, so I should be able to get some e-mailed after I get home from work.
Have a great Tuesday!
