A few years ago, Keith Urban started a fund raiser, called “All for the Hall.” Money raised was donated to the Country Music Hall of Fame. The 2012 event will be held Jan. 18, 2012. I’m sure there will be a lot of performers added to the line-up between now and the show, but here’s who we are starting with. Vince Gill, Rascal Flatts, Alison Krauss and Union Station, Little Big Town, and the legendary Oak Ridge Boys!
"The support that this event has received over the past couple of years, really speaks to the commitment to and the importance of preserving the past and protecting the future of country music," Keith says. "We’ll have some great bands performing — part of our ‘All Together Now’ theme for the night — an especially fitting concept that we hope will capture the spirit of the evening."
Tickets for the show will go on sale on Nov. 4, and will include a limited number of VIP packages. These packages range in price from $150 to $3,500, and each package is named after a Keith Urban single, ‘Start a Band,’ ‘Put You in a Song’ and ‘Get Closer.” The most expensive package includes dinner with Keith, plus time with him before the show, signed memorabilia, a premium floor seat and a post-concert party. In addition to the VIP packages, the tickets most of us can afford range from $25-$35. It’s no surprise they sell out every year.
As in the past, the concert will be held in Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. Since it started, the show has raised more than a million dollars for the Country Music Hall of Fame. Tickets can be ordered from Ticketmaster, or by calling 800-745-3000.
Keith’s new single is “You Gonna Fly,” and is the fourth release from his gold-certified album, “Get Closer.”
Talk to you all later –
