I have always been a Trace Adkins fan. Until recently, I preferred his older stuff – “Every Light in the House,” “A Bad Way of Saying Goodbye", ”No Thinkin’ Thing.” But one of my favorite Trace songs is actually very recent, It’s “Just Fishin’.” I also think his new single, “Million Dollar View,” is great. I’ve seen trace in concert a number of times. He puts on a fantastic show, and I’m always ready to go see him again
Trace has 13 albums to his credit, a long list of hit songs and awards… and as if all that isn’t enough, Trace, who will be celebrating his 50th birthday on January 13, was voted Country Weekly Magazine’s Sexiest in December, 2011.
Now, the NAR has selected January’s NRA Country Artist Of The Month is country superstar. The month-long promotion gives fans the opportunity to check out a never before seen, behind the scenes look at a recent photo shoot on his personal farm near Nashville, TN. The exclusive new video can be found only at www.NRACountry.com beginning today!
"I grew up in the Sportsman’s Paradise – Louisiana, so I guess it isn’t a surprise that the great outdoors has always been a big part of my life. All my favorite memories involve the outdoors – whether it was playing outside as a kid, playing football in college, goofing around with my kids, or going hunting.” Trace adds, “I support NRA Country because they share my love of the outdoors and my wish to safeguard America’s hunting heritage. I am Trace Adkins and I am NRA Country."
In addition to the video, fans can register to win an NRA Country prize pack including a hat and t-shirt of choice. Check NRA’s web site from now through the end of January to register to win.
Fans can also catch Trace Adkins at the 2nd Annual NRA Country Jam on April 13th during the NRA Annual Meeting in St. Louis. Tickets will be on sale soon. Check HERE for information. Look what else we have – Trace is in the January 2012 issue of Good Housekeeping. Great picture of him, and a few things about Trace you may not have known – like the compliment he got from his wife, “My wife would say my best trait is….putting the toilet seat down. In our house that’s a pretty big deal.” I imagine it would be with three daughters. Trace also said, “The one thing I always do around the house is…change light bulbs. We have eight-foot ceilings, and I’m 6’6”, so I don’t even need a ladder.” Pick up your copy of Good Housekeeping for this great photo, and the rest of what Trace had to say.
If you have never seen Trace in concert, I hope you get to soon. Here are some of the places Trace will be, from the current schedule on his web site.

Maybe I should give some serious thought to making some travel plans. Because that Sea World thing on Feb. 18 looks like fun. Oh, and so does that cruise starting Oct. 19. Or, maybe I’ll just hope Trace schedules something a little closer to home. If he does, I’ll be there.
I will talk to you all real soon! I know my e-mail has really gotten behind since Christmas, but I’m heading there right now – so hopefully I will get an answer out to YOU tonight!
More later,
Country
