Kip Moore is one of my favorite new country artists. I’ve seen him in concert twice, and I’m sure there will be a third time (and and probably more) in my future. He puts on an awesome show. The last time I saw him was just about a month ago in Abingdon, Va., at the Washington County Fair. You can read about that show, and see a lot of pictures by clicking here.
Kip didn’t come up with a nomination this year for the 46th annual CMA Awards (to be telecast live on Thursday, Nov. 1, on ABC), but that isn’t the only awards show in town. Kip has found himself nominated for three awards at the third annual American Country Awards, scheduled for Dec. 10.
Kip Moore is continuing his phenomenal breakthrough year with three nominations at the third annual American Country Awards. The Nashville singer-songwriter is nominated for Artist of the Year: New Artist, and his platinum certified "Somethin’ ‘Bout a Truck" is up for Single of the Year and Video of the Year in the New Artist category.
Starting today, fans can vote once each day for their favorite nominees at www.theacas.com. Voting is open until Monday, November 12th for all categories, except for Artist of the Year, which closes on Friday, December 7th. The American Country Awards will air live from Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas on Monday, December 10th from 8:00-10:00 PM (ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX.
Kip recently shared the official video for his latest single, "Beer Money," which is #14 and climbing on the Country Songs chart. He’s also currently supporting his debut album, Up All Night, touring across the US with headliner Eric Church through November 17th.

This kid put on one of the best shows I’ve seen this year. He’s very deserving of the nominations. And, let’s not forget that he is super nice to his fans. The fans are the people who help these artists achieve the success they strive for – it’s good to see them being good to their fans.
Back with more soon.
