Parmalee’s current single, “Carolina,” continued its ascent this week when it broke Top 25 at country radio, landing a spot at #24 on both the Billboard Country Airplay and Country Aircheck/Mediabase charts. Additionally, "Carolina" is up over six million in audience (according to Billboard/BDS) over the past five weeks. The single has now sold over 200,000 digital copies to date. “Carolina” is the follow up to the Country quartet’s debut Top 40 hit, “Musta Had A Good Time.”
“We have believed in ‘Carolina’ since day one. After spending the last year literally reliving the message behind this song on the road away from our home and families, It all comes back to that one moment when you can feel the hard work paying off. It’s an indescribable feeling to see people out there singing the words back to us and to know that they are hearing it on the radio." said Matt Thomas, lead singer for Parmalee.
“We are so thankful to Country radio for its undying support and to our amazing team at Stoney Creek Records for its devotion to this single.” said Barry Knox, bass player for Parmalee.
