Reigning CMA and ACM “Vocal Duo of the Year” Thompson Square will become the first country music act to grace the stage of CBS’ new syndicated daytime talk show juggernaut, The Queen Latifah Show this Monday, Sept. 23.
The multi-platinum selling duo will perform their latest single, “Everything I Shouldn’t Be Thinking About” on the show hosted by the GRAMMY and Golden Globe winning actress, musician, record-label president and author. The Queen Latifah Show is the second highest rated premiere of a new daytime talk show since the Dr. Oz Show debuted in 2009 and premiered as the highest rated new daytime talk show of the Fall 2013 season.
The show is produced by Latifah alongside Shakim Compere and Overbrook Entertainment’s Will Smith, Jada Smith, and James Lassiter. For more information about The Queen Latifah Show and to find air times in your area, visit: http://www.queenlatifah.com
“Everything I Shouldn’t Be Thinking About” is already a Top 40 hit at country radio and is the follow-up to Thompson Square’s GOLD certified, #1 smash “If I Didn’t Have You.” Both songs appear on Thompson Square’s new album, JUST FEELS GOOD.
The husband/ wife duo, comprised of Keifer and Shawna Thompson, are nominated for the CMA “Vocal Duo of the Year” Award for the third consecutive time. Thompson Square made history last year when it became the only established married duo act to win CMA “Vocal Duo of the Year,” since the creation of the award. Thompson Square will defend its CMA crown in Nashville the night of November 6th.https://www.countryschatter.com/2013/09/thompson-square-to-perform-on-queen-latifah-show-monday/Press ReleaseTV Appearancecountry radio,dr oz,duo act, james lassiter, juggernaut, overbrook entertainment, wife duo
