It’s been a long time since we’ve had anything posted about Jeremy McComb. The first time was back in early 2011, he was going to sing at a Nashville Predators game. He had a song out around that time, called “This Town Needs a Bar”. I liked it, and I put the video up in the post about the hockey game. You can check that our by clicking here.
Jeremy has a new EP, Turbulence (available on iTunes), and he has a new single form that EP called “Love Song”. I got a press release abouto the new music, that I want to share with all of you.
Jeremy McComb is proud to bring fans brand new music and has just released “Love Song,” from his forthcoming EP TURBULENCE, the latest release since his successful independent project, LEAP and the net will appear. “Love Song” the first installment in a series of special highlights from the EP to be released this spring, is available TODAY on iTunes and other online digital retailers.
McComb recorded the new song as part of an EP project , along with a full length album, with Grammy award-winning producer Jamie Tate at the Rukkus Room studio in Nashville, TN. Tate came on board as a result of his passion for the project and the two instantaneously gelled creatively, making for a great musical fit.
The EP, TURBULENCE and the new album were completely fan-funded, a testament to McComb’s amazing fan base which has been cultivated through years of touring, along with great radio support on early singles. He was also one of the very first artists ever to use the online live show platform, the now wildly-popular Stageit.com. All of these factors helped build up an impressive following of fans and social followers. McComb first decided to try fan funding back in 2011 and was surprised to learn that his fans had such faith in he and his art, that they themselves would support his music from a monetary standpoint.
“Love Song” also appears on a new compilation ZinePak called HOOKED ON COUNTRY:2014 Walmart FLW Tour Preview & Music Spotlight along with other artists including Rodney Atkins, Lee Brice and Chris Janson, among others. The ZinePak highlights everything bass fishing enthusiasts need to know about the 2014 Walmart FLW Tour and features exclusive interviews and music with six country artists who will be joining as the tour gets underway. Look for more information about McComb’s participation in the future.
