Life imitated art recently for The Casey Donahew Band, who portrayed a band of wronged six-gun defenders in the Spaghetti-Western themed video for the song “Whiskey Baby,” from the band’s latest CD, “Standoff.” The guys caught a bandit trying to make off with member Steve Stone’s Yeti cooler that was in the back of his truck after a show, and swiftly apprehended the culprit. The offender spent a night in jail thanks to his bad judgment of trying to steal from some staunch supporters of the Second Amendment! When not fighting crime, the band is hard at work on the road performing and selling out venues across the country, and are working on their latest CD, due out later this year. Casey’s new single, “Lovin’ Out Of Control,” will be released to radio April 28th.
